Magazine and Fashion Lighting Secrets

© Loren Hammer
Learn the secrets magazine and fashion photographers use to create the strong and dramatic portraits and fashion photographs seen in magazines. Loren Hammer’s intensive weekend workshop will empower participants with the knowledge to produce portraits in both natural and studio lighting. Master natural light and the ways it can be shaped and modified to create a natural and professional key light. Learn the use of studio flash and their modifiers; the fresnel light, umbrellas, lightboxes and broad diffused light sources as they relate specifically to photographing people and learn how to use inexpensive small off-camera flash to produce the same effects!
The workshop will be comprised of portrait demonstrations with a model, followed by student practice sessions guided by the instructor. Whether you photograph children or rock stars and celebrities, this workshop will take your photography to the next level.
