Join digital pioneer R. Mac Holbert for an exploration into cutting edge printing technologies that is guaranteed to take your printmaking skills to the next level. On Friday night Mr. Holbert will present a two-hour lecture specifically outlining his personal workflow and strategies. Saturday and Sunday will be devoted to teaching specific tips and techniques for optimizing and outputting images. The focus will be on developing a personal image optimization workflow that encourages a non-destructive and efficient approach to enhancing one’s images.
The class will be taught using an Apple Intel iMac with Photoshop CS3. Epson America will provide an Epson Stylus Pro 3800 and ink and paper for the class. Students are encouraged to bring prints and images to share and output, as well as laptops loaded with Photoshop to follow along with in-class demonstrations. Workshop participants are expected to have intermediate to advanced Photoshop skills.
