Amy Kawadler

This workshop is intended for those who have recently purchased a Canon digital or film SLR camera, are new to photography, and are unfamiliar with the camera’s buttons and features. Taught by Amy Kawadler, Canon’s Pro Market Rep, this one-day class is a preview of all there is to learn about the Canon EOS system. Amy starts by explaining all the modes of the camera, then how to utilize the camera to the photographer’s best advantage. Participants will see a range of lenses such as the Image Stabilization lenses, the macros system, and the Tilt Shift lenses. If time permits, Amy will explain the new wireless flash system, demonstrating how to use multiple flash units without cords in a studio environment. This workshop promises to be the most complete Canon tutorial one can experience in a single day.

Amy Kawadler received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.  She relocated to Southern California the day after graduation with $300 and a camera in her hand.  Before becoming a Professional Markets Rep, Kawadler worked as a photographer in the newspaper and gallery world. Now, 17 years later, as the assistant manager of the western region, Amy is working throughout the territory covering major sporting events, educational workshops, commercial programs, as well as continuing to explore her own photographic endeavors.
